He has always loved to sing, and has been in the Air Force for 3 years, so this summer he went to San Antonio for about 4 weeks and tried out for the group as a bass player, but while he was there he was asked to try out for vocalist, he did and found out a few weeks later that he got a vocolist position. We {Our Family} are really proud of him. Please say a Pray for Him and his Wife and his Children, He has a 3 year old boy Jovi and a 9 month old girl Lennon. He will be away for 1 year, which is going to be an Awesome experience for him, he will be traveling all over the world for a whole year. TIB will be in {China, Iraqi, Germany, Sweden and several other countries and all over the US}. But I know that Leeann and the kids are missing him already and he has only been gone since the end of March. I hope you get a chance to tune in to the race tomorrow. I know I will will be watching.

A Week of First's!!!

First, I was SUPER! excited this week to check my blog and find out that I had won Kelli's @ Random Thoughts of a Supermom!, Super Summer Giveaway, This is the 1st time that I have won anything from blogland.

I want to Thank Kelly for the Awesome giveaway, Girl you Rock!
I love reading your blog and seeing all of your cute pics of the boys.

Next I was SUPER!! excited to check my blog today and find out that I had been given a really COOL! Award from My IRL blog friend Jennifer @ The Life and Times of Mommy.
I love reading your blog and seeing all the cute pics of the kids.{Especially my future daughter in law}. LOL!

You Guys are AWESOME!!!

To answer a few questions about the pics in my last post: The county is burying water lines for our FORCED utilitys. So they started digging up My yard last week and they have now made it down the road past my IRL blog friend Mandy's @ Confessions of a Drama Mama! house.

But one of the only good things about the forced utilty's is with us having 2 fire hydrants { 1 in my yard & 1 on the corner across the street} is that my house insurance will go down a little.
I don't mind having a fire hydrant on my land but the problem is that when thay put the 1 on the corner across the street they dug a REALLY big hole and then did not fill it in all the way so know after an afternoon of rain it was under water.

So I guess if my house or yard{My Hubby doesn't have a good track record with burning things LOL!} we will have to wait until they can find the hydrant. LOL!!!

Seriously people I knew we lived in the sticks but can we not figure out that the fire hydrant is not going to do Anyone any good with it under a foot of water. HAHA!!!! These were taken a few days after the rain storm, I am sure you can imagine how high the water was.

Our New Fire Hydrant courtesy of the Jackson County Road Dept.
{If we need it, we will have to dig it out} LOL!!!
Can you tell we live in the country!

Wordless Wednesday!!! Giddy Up Horsey!

"Update" on My Mom

I would like to thank all of you that have been praying for My Mom and Our Family, We Covet your prayers. I am sorry that i did not post yesterday about what all we found out about my mom, But this what My Mom's treatment schedule will be.
They did a Chest x-ray yesterday, Labs, & EKG.
In the next month she will have several test done {pulimonary function test, EKG and several others}. but she will be able to have all of these test done here at home so at least she will not have to be traveling every week to and from Jackson.
In 1 month from now{on a thursday) she will go back to University of Mississippi Medical Center, on Friday she will be admitted into the hospital she will undergo 1 round of Chemo and on Saturday she will have a Nuprogen shot{it builds up the stem cells} they will watch her sat and as long as she handles the chemo and Nuprogen shot well she will be able to come home the same day. Then starting on Sunday someone will have to give her {probably me} a Nuprogen shot once a day for 9 days.
We don't know how soon after she takes her last Nuprogen shot that they will call for her to come back to Jackson, they said it could be 1 to 2 weeks.
When they call for her to return to Jackson she will be in Jackson for 1 to 3 day, during that time she will have another Bone Marrow aspiration{which she is dreading more than anything right now}, but they will also start harvesting her Stem Cells which will take 1-4 hours a day{they withdraw the stem cells through her IV}. They say that since she has not had Chemo that there is a chance they could get all of the stem cells that they need on the 1st day but if not she would have to come back the 2nd day and or until they get all of the stem cells that they need . When they have finished harvesting the stem cells they will freeze them until time for the transplant. She will come home.
Again we don't know how long before they will be ready for her to come for the transplant {they have 12 unit facility at the hospital where Mom & Dad will stay so they will have to wait until they have room open for them, but we think probably just a week or two}
When it is time to go back to Jackson, She will be there in the Hospital for 1 month, The 1st day will be getting them settled and then the 2nd day they will start the extensive Chemo treatments, she will have 2-10 days of Chemo. They said the week that you are on the Chemo is not bad but the week after the Chemo is AWFUL they told her that she will be extremly sick but she will be on antibiotics and Nausea meds from the 1st day in the unit. During the 2nd week {her sick week} she will have the Stem Cell transplant {they say this is the easiest part}. Then she will remain in the unit for another 2 weeks for monitering to make sure that the Stem Cells are growing & attaching like they are supposed to. When the month is up {as long as everything goes as planned} she will come home.
There is a 100 Day time frame from the day she goes into the hospital that she will bascially be in isolation, they said that there is a list a mile long of things that she can not have or do, some of those are {no fruits or vegtables, no pets{funny since she has a little fluff ball dog in the house, so guess who gets to keep the dog? yep! you guessed it, or at least until Grayson's Ashtma starts acting up since he is highly allergic to dogs}{no visitors, we are not sure if we will be able to be around her or not}, and about a thousand other things. Once she reaches the 100 day mark she will get to start adding a few things back into her routine. It will be after the first of the year before she will be able to get out and go. Which is going to be really hard on her and on Dad.
She has a really long road ahead of her but we Know that the Lord has got his hand on her, and that he will be there every step of the way.
She has been so blessed that everything has gone so fast starting with that 1st oncologist apponitment, & We have been blessed with such a Wonderfull medical staff taking care of Our Mom!
Please contiue to Pray for Her {Martha Barrow}, for our family, and for the medical staff that will be taking care of her.
And i just wanted to say Thank You to Jennifer, for coming to get us the other night when my van decided to take a breather on the side of the road.
And Thank You to all of my IRL blog friends who have supported me and been there for me this last year, i could not ask for better friends, you are all AWESOME and a gift from God.
and Thank you to my blog friends, for people that i have never met face to face you mean alot to me, I pray for you daily and even if we never meet her on earth i know that one day we will meet in Heaven and we are going to have a blast when we do.

Please Say a Pray for Easton!

We had a Nerve racking night last night with Easton, He had 3 Apnea Episodes during the night.
I called the Doctor after the 1st episode and while I was waiting on the Triage Nurse to call back he had 2 more episodes, the 1st time Isaac got to him before I did and he turned the Apnea Moniter off and said that the moniter showed that his BrPM {breathes per minute} were 16 BrPM, but the Apnea Alarm was going off, but we checked him and he seemed to be ok. I went to call the Doc. and while i was waiting on the nurse to call back, the Apnea Alarm went off the 2nd time, this time I took off running and got to him the same time Isaac did, we checked him it was dark in the room other than the light in the bathroom being on, but from what i could tell he did not look blue when i got to him, the machine read that his BrPM were 4 {breathes per minute},
We again checked everything and within a few minutes of laying him back down he had the 3rd Apnea this time it was 5 BrPM, I was freaking out, the nurse finally called back and said since he had recovered from the Apnea's, that instead of taking him to the ER she would just call Our Pediatrician and see what she wanted us to do. The Nurse called back and said since he had recovered from the Apnea's that we should just stay at home and watch him closely and that if he had another Apnea episode to call them back, luckily he did not have another one, but the Doc also wanted me to call and have the home health nurse come out and download the machine and have the information sent to her which they are supposed to do in the morning {so that means no sleep for me tonight} so our Doc will be getting the download information tomorrow and if it was a true Apnea {which the nurse thinks it was due to the Apnea alarm and Low Heart rate alarm going off}, we are going to be Requesting {DEMANDING}a refferal to a Pediatric Cardioligist to see what is going on, We have asked several times before for them to explain what is causing the apneas and low heart rates and have always gotten the same answer that with Easton being premature, the part of his brain that tells him to breathe is immature, {but come on he is 10 months old and is developing normally, so what is the problem} I am tired of being scared to put him down to sleep at night, I am tired of worrying if something is wrong with him and I am scared to Death that he is going to have an Apnea Episode sometime and that He is not going to recover from it.
Please be in Prayer for Him and for Us!
I will try & post when we hear something from the Doctor.

Sweet Little Kayleigh!

My Heart is breaking this morning over Little Kayleigh, I can not even begin to imagine what Adam & Aimee are feeling. It is something that we may not ever{on this side of Heaven} understand. But I do know that she has been healed, no more pain & no more suffering, and it is comforting to know that she is in Heaven sitting at Jesus's feet.
I have been touched by Kayleigh's story like So Many! others, I have hugged my children tighter, Appreciated them more, and Prayed over them more, since I found Kayleigh's blog last year. I am Grateful for My Family & for Our Health.
My Heart and Prayers go out to The Freeman Family!

Don't forget to tune in to The Doctors tomorrow for the show with Adam & Aimee. Also go to and look at the In Memory of Kayleigh Button they have on there main page.

I Did Not! have a Great Mother's day with My Family Yesterday! I did not enjoy the fact that I did Not! have to cook for everyone like I normally have to do since My brother cooked lunch for us.

I Did Not! have a Great time Saturday Night going out with friends, we Did Not! cut up like a bunch of kids at the dinner table, and I was Not! glad that at the resturant they put us in a small private room because if we had been in the middle of the restraunt we so would have gotten kicked out. LOL!

I Did Not! get a Really cute dress, clutch, & jewelry, from My Hubby and My Boys for My Birthday {even though I did pick it out}.

I Did Not! volunteer to cut grass after church and lunch on Mother's Day just so I could get out of the house so I could have some time to myself. Nope, Not Me! (SAD!!! I know)but you do what you have to do.

I Did Not! get a little excited {ok, ALOT excited} when we recieved our Adoption paperwork this week for a China Adoption.

I Was Not! a little shocked that My Hubby {REALLY} wants to try and Adopt {2} yes, 2, baby girls from China.

I Did Not! think yesterday when we were taking family pictures at My Parents house that if we are able to Adopt 2 little girls that we are going to be a Family of 7. Wow! it still shocks me.

Well that is Not! my Not Me Monday for this week.

Hope you all Do Not! have a Great week this week!

My Crazy Kids!

Well, last night we were going about our nightly routine pj's on, teeth brushed, read a book (or 2 or 3)LOL! and last but not least prayers. I told the boys to hurry up and get the books that they wanted to read because it was getting late and we still had to say there prayers, so Grayson said Well, momma i can pray by myself, and I said Well good i'm glad that you can pray by yourself so know you can talk to God anytime you want to, Grayson asked if I wanted to listen to him pray and I told him I would Love to listen to him pray, So he started his Prayer and it went something like this. Dear, Heavenly Father I thank you for My Mommy & Daddy and Brayden & Easton, thank you for our family & our friends, and keep us safe, and healthy, and Please help me and Brayden not to have ANY bad dreams, help us to have good dreams in Jesus Name we Pray AMEN! ( Well i was quiet Proud of him, and could tell that he listens really well when i am praying because he repeated alot of what i say when i am praying with them at night. Well, anyway i told Grayson that he did a great job on his prayer and then Brayden said, yeah you know you can't pray for jelly bread (WHAT!) I said Brayden What are you talking about and he said, You can only say that at lunch time, Again I said Baby, what are you talking about, and he said( getting aggitated), You can only say that at lunch, (my kids call every meal weather it is breakfest, lunch, or dinner, LUNCH!) and he said you KNOW!
God is Great, God is Good, Let us Thank him for Our food, by his hands we are feed, Thank You Lord for JELLY BREAD!!!
Let's just say that i almost fell out of my chair, I had no idea for the last 5 years, when he is blessing his food he is Thanking the Lord for his Jelly & Bread.
I hope that put a Smile on your face because it sure did put one on my face last night.

Kelli's 100th post!!!

Go check out Random thoughts of a SUPERMOM! so you can tell Kelli what you are most looking forward to this summer.
I am so ready for summer to be here, My Mom was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer(cancer of the bone marrow) in January and has gone through radiation and we have been waiting for a refferal for her Bone Marrow/Stem Cell transplant, Well our waiting is OVER! YAH!!! We are all REALLY! excited but also REALLY! Scared. She will be going next Thursday for her consultation and we should know more then. We do know that it will be long process, We know that there will be several trips to be made to Jackson (which is about 3 1/2 hours from home), and we know that once they start the transplant process that it will take 1-4 hours a day for 5 days to take out her baby stem cells and then they will be frozen until she is ready for them to be ready to be reimplanted in which during that time she will go through extensive Chemo treatments to kill off all of the cancerous cells and then once she is (what the doctors have told us at her lowest) they will reimplant her baby stem cells, which will be 1-4 hours a day for 5 days. We know that she will be in Jackson @ University of Mississippi Medical Center for 3 to 4 weeks once the transplant starts.
As everyone who knows me knows I am VERY! close to My Mom, I live next door to My Mom & Dad, I take my mom to all of her doctors app. I see her every day and talk to her several times a day, so I am already REALLY!!! dreading not being able to be with her everyday that she in Jackson, But it is really hard to be able to go when i Have 3 little boys that need me at home, and can't go with me. We will be trying to go every weekend to visit this summer while they are in the hospital. (Ok, I am already a basket case and they haven't even left yet.) Please Pray that the transplant will work and that she will not need another one(about 50% of people need a 2nd transplant in 18 to 36 months because the cancer comes back, but because my mom is 60 almost 61 years old if she needs another they may not do it because it is to risky to do on anyone over 65 years of age (but i am trying not to think about that.) So that is what I will be doing this summer it is not going to be a nice relaxing summer but hopefully after all of this is over we will be able to have a nice relaxing end of summer bash to celebrate My Mom being Cancer FREE! and that will make all of the stress of the summer SOOOO! worth it.
Sorry, this post was to tell you guys to check out Kelli's blog and tell her what you are looking forward to this summer and it turned out to be a long post. Guess you can tell what has been on my mind for the last few days.

This is a pic of My Mom and My Boys!

I am So NOT! Excited about NOT ME MONDAY!!!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I am NOT! so glad to have Not Me Monday's back.

I am NOT! Happy that Baby Stellan and MckMama are back with there Family.

I Did NOT! tell Grayson that I loved his choir t-shirt and tell him that i wished that i had ordered one for myself, and he did NOT turn around and tell me that He could get me one because he has connections.

We did NOT! ask the boys where they wanted to eat tonight after church and they did NOT! say Burger King, so we did NOT! head toward BK only to have our van run hot on the way and we did NOT! call my dad who had just got home from church and get him to bring us some water for the van. Isaac did NOT! make the comment that we would NOT! be able to go to BK so we would have to go home and find something to eat and Grayson did NOT! say Daddy do we not have to live and we did NOT! look at each other like our sweet 6 year old had lost his mind and say what are you talking about and he did NOT! say Don't you have to eat to live. We did NOT! crack up!

I did NOT! put a cute white hair bow in Baby Easton's hair just so I could see what our little girl, (if we ever have one) might look like,(I would NOT! do something like that, it could scar my little boy for life.)HEHE!

I did NOT! have a Great time spending my Birthday with My Family, We Did NOT! go grocery shopping on My Birthday. Yah!

I am NOT! TOTALLY looking forward to going out this weekend with our Best Friends Paul & Jennifer. We DO NOT! ever have a great time with them when we go out, and We DO NOT! act like a bunch of kids even though we are all in our 20's (ok, NOT really we are all in our 30's).

I DID NOT! go dress shopping again this weekend even though I have 7 new dresses in the closet with tags still on them just because I wanted to spend birthday money. (because i am always wise with how i spend my money).

A Great Birthday!

Well today is my 31st Birthday! (I know you can't believe it LOL!) but it is true. I had a Great Day! Isaac took the day off today, so i was able to sleep in this morning(which was WONDERFUL) and then he made me breakfast, and then Isaac and the boys surprised me with a birthday cake that they had made. (SCARY!!!)
We then had to go to Mobile and do that thing you call going to the grocery store.YAH!!! Not exactly what you want to do on your birthday but you know. Anyway then we had to beat it back to Miss. to church for Grayson's dress rehearsal for the children's choir program(Man! the things we do for our kids). Then once G's practice was over we went to Mom & Dad's to watch a movie and have birthday cake. I had not seen BOLT yet so we watched it. It was a very cute movie. Needless to say I had a GREAT day with my family today and I am VERY blessed.

Me and My Babies!

Me as a Baby(Well, a 1 1/2 year old)
