PLEASE PRAY!

For those of you that have been following my blog, I have posted about My Mom and that she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer last January, she had a stem cell transplant 1 year ago this month and has been in remission for several months now. Well she has been having alot of pain in her left arm and went to her Oncologist about 3 weeks ago they found a lesion right above both of her elbows, one on her clavical, and 2 on her Rotater Cuff, her Orthopedtist wanted her to see a Orthopedic Oncologist so they transferred her to Oshner's Medical in New Orleans LA, She was scheduled for her 1st app at Oshner's this coming Monday adn scheduled for surgery to place a rod in her arm on Tuesday.
Well today the boys and I had gone to pick her up to take her to run a few errands and when she went to get into my expedition she went to brace herself with her arms to step up inot my SUV and both of hre arms snapped, I called 911 and they rushed her to the hospital in Mobile where they confirmed that BOTH of her arms are BROKEN right above the elbow. They have transferred her to Oshner's tonight, so Please be praying for My Mom, Dad and Our Family. We will know in in the morning {Thursday} when they will do surgery to repair the breaks i her arms and to place the rod in her left arm, fix her rotater cuff and her clavical. She has been through so much the last year and a half but has always been strong and knows that God has a plan for her.

Playing catch up!

Wow! It has been a very summer and I have really been slacking on this blog, so I am going to try to play catch up so some of these pics are from July.
We had Gray and Easton's birthday parties together this year since their B-day's are just a few weeks apart. They had a Great Party at Monkey Joe's
which is a new inflatable play place in our area and it is so much fun!
Grayson is really into the whole Toy Story thing so we did a Toy Story theme for him
and Easton LOVES Mickey Mouse{who doesn't}hehe! so we did Mickey Mouse theme for him.

I tend to be one of those Mommies that go overboard with birthday's but I LOVE it.
Instead of sending home party favor bags full of stuff that is going to get thrown out later I have started making little treats for the guest {everyone likes to eat}!
So this year for G & E's party I made
Mickey Mouse Brownie Pops!
They were a TOTAL hit with the kiddos and the parents, and they were fun to make!
Place them in clear sucker bags and tie with cute ribbon and you have a great party favor.

I started making my boys cakes a few years ago and boy is it ALOT of work but it so so worth the long hours and little sleep leading up to party day. With making fondant, rolling fondant, coloring fondant, cutting by hand every detail, baking cakes {8 cakes total}, making buttercreme, icing, placing the fondant and decorating, it took me aprox. 9 hours.

Grayson's party was Toy Story so this is a few pics of the cake that I made for him.

Easton's was Mickey Mouse so here are a few pics of his Mickey Cake!

Grayson about to blow out his #8 candle!

Easton blowing out his # 2 candle!
It was a Great day spent with wonderful Family and Friends!

Learning to Dance!

 Wow!
Where do I start?
Things have been
Great, Crazy Awful, Sad, Aggravating, Stressful, Hopeful, and
now were getting back to Great.

I am not one of those people that talk about my life to someone unless I really know them.
Yeah, I'll put on facebook or here on my blog about things that we do as a family, isn't that what having a blog and a FB account is about? Letting friends know what is going on in your life, the happy times, the sad times, the stressful times, So that your friends can rejoice with you in the happy times, lift you up in the sad times and pray for you in the stressful times or better yet all of the time?
Well, I have found out in the last 4 weeks that that is not the way life is, even though I think that it should be like that.

I have been hurt by people I called friends, I have been torn apart by people that once called me friend, and I have been to the point of wondering why God allows the Devil to use people to hurt others.

But I have also been brought to my knees in prayer for these people I called friends,
I have found a renewed strength that I didn't know I had,
and I have found out who my True friends are.
I don't think I will ever understand the way some people think, I don't know that I ever want to understand how people can knowingly hurt someone and then try to justify it.

I received a text from my Sis in Law today that read:

God doesn't give you the people you want.
He gives you the people you NEED -
To help you, to hurt you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.

I don't think if you had asked me 4 weeks ago if I was going to be ok,
I could have told you yes.
I don't think that if you had asked me 4 weeks ago if I would ever trust people again,
I could have told you yes.
I don't think if you had asked me 4 weeks ago if I would ever think I would be able to step foot back in a church again,
I could have told you yes.

But I can tell you after what my family has gone through the last 4 weeks,

We are not going to be ok,
We are Great!

God has shown us who our True friends are and we are Blessed beyond measure for the the friends God has given us and I Will trust people again!

And we are in a new church and We LOVE it! God has really opened a lot of doors for our family in the last 4 weeks and I do believe the message that I received from my Sis in Law.
God gives us what we need to make us who he wants us to be, he doesn't promise us that life is going to be easy but He does promise that he will be there to carry us when we can't walk on our own.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Disney World Bound!!!

In 16 hours we will be loading up and hitting the road to our
FAVORITE vacation spot of all time!
WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!
We are super excited about this trip,
for one we are going with
Our Best Friends Jenn and Paul from
http://wonderfulworldofwaltman.blogspot.com
the next thing is that we are going to be at Disney World for 2 whole weeks!
And the 3rd thing is I REALLY NEED A VACATION!!!!!!!!
We are so ready for this trip
{although we leave in 16 hours and I am not even packed yet} ;)
We are praying for safe travels and that NO ONE ends up in the hospital this time!
{Long scary story!}
I will have my laptop with me since my
Wonderful Hubby bought me an air card this week
so we wouldn't have to pay for the insanely outrageous wi-fi at the resort,
so I will get to play online while we travel.
And to tell you how Wonderful My Hubby is,
He not only bought me an air card of my laptop he also surprised me last week
and told me to pick out the camera that I wanted
and he would get it for me as an early anniversary present
so yesterday My new baby was delivered,
His name is
Canon Rebel!!!
{now just gotta read that big book and figure out how to use it.}

Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

Pray!

Please say a prayer for me today!
I am going to be interviewed today at 3:20 pm for our local TV station's The Weekly Show for their Mother's Day Special, I will be sharing about our Adoption and what the Lord is doing in Our Family.
I pray that the Lord will give me the words to say so that someone else may see the need. I feel honored to be asked to do this interview and I want to spread the word about Adoption.
If you would please just say a little prayer for me I would be forever grateful!
Thanks,

Weekend on the River!

This past weekend My Family and I were invited to the river by some friends from church. We were told that we could move into their home for a long weekend, {there home sits right off of the river.}
So we loaded up, and headed to the river Friday morning and spent the weekend on the river in our friends boat and kayaks. They have a beautiful home and are very grateful that they asked us to go and stay in their home. We had a very relaxing weekend with my family, My parents were there with us and one of my sister's and her family and My Brother and his family came on Saturday. It was a wonderful getaway and we are grateful for the oppurtunity. It was a great mini-vacation, leading up to our big vacation that we will be going on in just a few short weeks {4 weeks and 4 days to be exact}hehe! Except for our big vacation will be heading to FLORDIA to see M-I-C-K-E-Y  M-O-U-S-E! for 2 whole weeks! 10 days in the parks and 4 days to lay by the pool!  And we are going with our Bestest Friends in the whole world! Praying!

Would you all please say a prayer for our Little girl?
There was a 7.1 earthquake that struck China today. We are not sure if the earthquake was close enough to the orphanage to do any damage. But we do know that the death toll is over 500 and that they are saying that there are over 10,000 injured.
I have been out of commission today, and had not heard about the earthquake until this afternoon. Our agency has not posted anything, which has really got me worried because when the earthquake struck Haiti a few months ago they sent out emails to all of the families saying that the orphange was fine, but we have heard nothing about the orphanage in China.
This is an awful feeling, not knowing if your child is ok.
Please say a prayer for our baby girl, that she is safe along with all of the other children and caretakers.
Also keep all of China in your prayers.
Love,
The Dooley's

One step closer!

February 10th 2010,
We got a phone call from our social worker that our homestudy application had been Approved. YAH!!!!
She assured us that the next step was going to take a little while, since now we are going to be starting our fingerprinting, FBI background checks, copy of Birth Certificates and ALOT of paperwork, but we are beyond ready to bring Our little girl home.
We are also starting our fundraising efforts to help with the Adopton fees, I will be posting more about that in a few days.
We have been really busy the last few weeks, with school, work, paperwork, Isaac starting his first lawn care job this past weekend to help with the adoption fees and several other things.
But one of those things was that Isaac & I were able to work at Winter Jam in Mobile this past weekend. We had an Amazing time at the concert, but the best part of the whole night was
that we were working the main Holt International booth. If any of you have ever been to a Winter Jam concert or a Newsong concert you know that at the Holt booths they have pictures
of children that need sponsers and families. It was an almost surrel feeling knowing that on one of those tables was likely our little girls picture. We both kept picking up pictures of little girls looking at them like "this could be her".
It was an Amazing night! We were even asked to come to the Pensacola Winter Jam coming up and work.
But best of all is that 151 children now have sponsers!!!
How Awesome is that!!

WHO DAT! BABY!!!!

The number "44" is one everyone is talking about.
Super Bowl XLIV falls on the 44th day after Christmas, and hosts the 44-year- old New Orleans Saints franchise.
It doesn't stop there.
The 44th President of the United States.
The longest postseason pass Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, had thrown was a 44 yarder.
It's been 4 years and 4 months since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast.
Just two weeks ago, the Saints beat the Vikings, sealing their trip to Miami.
They spent 4 minutes and 44 seconds in overtime in that win.
The Saints have also retired 4 jersey numbers, and have won 4 division Championships in their history.
And they win the Super Bowl XLIV with just 44 seconds left in the game.
BELIEVE DAT!!!

{I am proud to be from the Gulf Coast)
WHO DAT! BABY!!!

Makes me want to sing!
Oh, When the Saints, go marching in, Oh, When the Saints go marching in!!!
